Understanding Benefits:
What is the Form 1095-C?
All full-time employees at companies with more than 50 full-time employees will now receive a Form 1095-C to report health care coverage offered by their employers.
There’s a new form in town, and its name is 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer of Coverage. Much like how you are provided a W-2 to report your earnings, you will now be provided a Form 1095-C to report the health care coverage offered to you by your employer. The Form 1095-C is made up of employee and employer information, the coverage that was offered to you, and covered individuals. You will need to keep the Form 1095-C on hand for your IRS filing.
